Equipment supplier Sidel will showcase its latest solutions for case packing, product handling, and labelling on stand E238 at AUSPACK 2019.

The Gebo AQFlex case packer is billed as an all-in-one handling solution. According to Sidel, the AQflex is able to accommodate any product, whatever the application, whatever the market, in all container materials, formats and shapes – full or empty – while also enabling automatic changeovers and ensuring total care of product integrity. Sidel claims that, thanks to its radically new approach of conveying and accumulation, AQFlex delivers unprecedented packaging line performance.

Also on display will be the new Sidel EvoDeco labelling solutions, available in dedicated or modular formats, which Sidel says are designed for total flexibility and optimised for unmatched performance. Producers can choose solutions based on their labelling needs and levels of output.

Finally, in secondary packaging, Sidel will exhibit the Cermex WB46 wrap-around case packer, which it says offers excellent performance in terms of flexibility, hygiene and ergonomics. The Industry 4.0-compatible WB46 was last year installed at Unilever’s personal care factory in Dubai, where Sidel says its ultra-smooth operation has guaranteed high-quality packaging while ensuring that Unilever’s end-of-line specifications are fully met.

Sidel specialises in equipment and services for packaging beverage, food, home and personal care products in PET, can, glass, and other materials. The company has almost 170 years of experience in the field, and nearly 40,000 solutions installed in more than 190 countries around the world.
