Robatech will exhibit its SX LongLife hot melt jetting head on stand C172 at AUSPACK 2019, which it says can reach up to 200 million operation cycles.

Compatible with most Robatech application systems, the LongLife head is designed for precision adhesive dot and bead application at high speeds. According to Fabian Renggli, product manager application heads at Robatech, its specially-developed jetting element and its robust solenoid valve make it particularly long-lasting.

“The name LongLife stands for precision, reliability, and long service life – qualities that guarantee high process reliability. This new application head highlights our expectations for quality,” he says.

The head is also modular, available in different variants, and able to be adapted to a range of applications; this operating philosophy and compatibility between models reduces the spares inventory, says Robatech, since various components such as the filter, nozzles, and heated hoses are the same.
