With one week to go, anticipation is reaching fever pitch for AUSPACK 2022, the southern hemisphere’s leading processing and packaging trade event, which opens its doors in Melbourne next week.

At last it is almost here. After a hiatus of three long years, the globally recognised, long-running AUSPACK event will be staged from 17-20 May at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Show attendees – both local and overseas – can visit the 200-plus exhibitors representing hundreds of global brands on the show floor, offering solutions that address a range of industry trends and themes – Industry 4.0, sustainability, advanced manufacturing, circular economy and more.

Innovation will be demonstrated live on many stands, and AUSPACK 2022 visitors will see first hand products that offer enhanced safety, security, automation and cost-saving benefits.

New for 2022, the AUSPACK Leaders’ Forum, running on 18-19 May in Melbourne alongside the AUSPACK trade show, brings a programme of high-end, keynote presentations and panel discussions designed for key decision makers in the processing and packaging industries.

Offering a fully flexible program that allows attendees to purchase tickets to selected sessions most relevant to their business, the Forum will allow attendees to choose from a variety of sessions across the two-day event to build the agenda that works for them.

Prices start from $150 a session, and attendees can pick and pack their agenda across the Forum, or register for the whole event with a two-day ticket. Tickets are available here

The expanded Solutions Theatres on the AUSPACK 2022 show floor is free to registered visitors and will provide in-depth overviews of technology, solutions and strategies, with sessions covering supply chain and procurement; education; preventative maintenance; materials and packaging design; network security; the circular economy; the future of manufacturing and warehousing and more. Find out more about the programme here.

INDUSTRY'S NIGHT OF NIGHTS

Tickets for the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) 2022 Awards of Excellence Gala Dinner, to be held on the evening of 18 May during AUSPACK, are still available here.

The finalists for the awards have been announced across eight categories, and anticipation is mounting to find out who the winners are. The awards have broadened for 2022, seeking out and recognising industry innovation, and celebrating success across a wide spectrum of the packaging and processing industry.

And then, cue drumroll.... on 18 May at the gala dinner, a historic announcement will be made that will change the game for the Australasian processing and packaging industry.

If you still need persuasion to attend, another drawcard is MC and entertainer, Tim Campbell. Star of stage and screen, Campbell has played leading roles on TV shows Home and Away, House Husbands, Big Sky, Dead Gorgeous and a host of national prime time shows, as well as stage shows Wicked, Rent and Shout.
