Universal Robots is bringing a range of new collaborative robots (cobots) to stand E236 at AUSPACK 2019.

Industry 4.0-enabled cobots can work alongside human staff, and are also capable of working in dangerous areas without safety equipment. Universal Robots equipment is installed in more than 50 countries worldwide.

The smallest on display will be the UR3 and UR3e, weighing 11 kilograms with a three-kilogram payload. They feature 360-degree rotation on all wrist joints and infinite rotation on the end joint. According to Universal Robots, UR3 and UR3e are the most flexible, lightweight table-top robots that work alongside operators.

The next size up is the 20-kilogram UR5 and UR5e, which have payloads of five kilograms and a working radius of 850 mm. Finally the largest, UR10 and UR10e, have a payload of 10 kilograms and a reach of 1,300 millimetres; Universal Robots claims they are equally flexible and easy to fit into processes.
