That AUSPACK was to be a big success for Jet Technologies was clear from day one when the company announced the sale of a Goglio G21 coffee FFS packaging machine to coffee roaster Little Marionette, the fifth of its kind sold by Jet this year.

‘Guiding you to 2025. Talk to us about sustainability’ was the tagline on Jet Technologies' AUSPACK stand, and on a visit there PKN discovered how Daniel Malki and his team are walking the sustainabilty talk across all vertical markets the company supplies, with sustainability credentials front and centre of all product solutions the company supplies to the coffee, dairy, ready meals, and wine and spirits sectors.

You can watch the tour of the stand, ending on the machine that was just sold, here:

Jet Technologies is fast expanding its footprint in the coffee packaging sector, with five Goglio G21 FFS packaging machines sold in 2022 already.

“Beneficial to any coffee roasters producing 1.5 tonnes or more of coffee per week, the Goglio G21 machine is ideal for roasters looking to reduce labour costs and improve their productivity rates to gain a competitive edge within the market,” Daniel Malki said.

“Additionally, packaging made to order using the G21 machine equates to half the cost of premade coffee bags, with a wide range of laminate structures, which include recyclable and compostable options.”

A standout feature of the G21 machine, according to Jet, is its “impeccable accuracy”, particularly with its two-option dosing procedure, meaning coffee roasters can chose their dose size without overfilling their bags and forfeiting coffee supply.

Likewise, the machine includes automatic packaging lines for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) to preserve coffee freshness.

Malki says the Goglio G21 is ideal for key players in the coffee industry looking to innovate and streamline their packaging operations to boost productivity and improve capital investment.

Jet Technologies has also invested in a new demonstration centre to give Australian coffee roasters an insight into the expertise, quality service, and support the company provides. This includes local buffer storage, flexible packaging, and packaging artwork support.

EXPANDING TEAM

Increased demand for its packaging products has prompted Jet Technologies to grow its team, with the ecent appointment of two packaging experts. Both Janette Podgoetsky and Alyssa Harding have come from the packaging industry.

Malki says: "We're confident Janette and Alyssa will contribute to the success of Jet’s growth in the various sectors we supply. We are excited to grow and offer our customers the best possible service."
