Tessa Eastman, connected products strategist at Markem-Imaje's Software Solution Division, will be presenting two sessions at AUSPACK's Solutions Theatre programme on 17 and 18 May in Melbourne.

The Solutions Theatres programme has been expanded this year and features curated sessions on technology, solutions and strategies. Access to these seminars is included with registration to AUSPACK, which runs from 17 - 20 May in Melbourne.

15:15 – 15:45 - The Evolution of Connected Packaging to Meet Market Trends 
We live in a connected world and data drives everything – including brand protection and consumer engagement. This session will explain market trends driving the evolution of how brands protect their products and connect with customers; as well as introduce innovative approaches that work in-line with existing packaging processes.

Theatre Stream: Consumer Trends

13:15 – 13:30 The Evolution of Connected Packaging to Meet Consumer Trends and Engagement
We live in a connected world and data drives everything – including brand protection and consumer engagement. This session will explain market trends driving the evolution of how brands protect their products and connect with customers; as well as introduce innovative approaches that work in-line with existing packaging processes.

At each session, attendees will:

  • Gain better understanding of trends in counterfeiting, diversion and consumer engagement 
  • Learn about innovation in the space of connected packaging 
  • Understand how specific brands have benefited from having a connected products strategy 

The Solutions Theatre programme will run for the duration of AUSPACK, on the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre's expo floor. The full programme can be accessed here.

Nestlé Germany is testing cocoa-free chocolate alternatives in its confectionery portfolio, launching a new “Snack Vibes” line under its Choco Crossies brand made using ChoViva, a cocoa-free chocolate ingredient developed by German food-tech company Planet A Foods.
