BW Packaging Systems represents the collective capabilities of Barry-Wehmiller packaging companies, including: Accraply, BW Flexible Systems, BW Integrated Systems, PneumaticScaleAngelus and Synerlink.

Through their diverse capabilities, these companies can collectively provide everything from a single piece of equipment to fully integrated packaging systems for a wide range of industries, including food and beverage, dairy, produce, personal care, container manufacturing, household products, paper products and many more.

Showing at the company’s AUSPACK stand C180 will be a CB50F craft beer filler and seamer from PSA along with an IM Verus – Vertical Form Fill Seal Bagger from the BW Flexible Systems division.

PneumaticScaleAngelus has been providing packaging solutions for some of the world’s largest brewers for more than 100 years, the company worked to transfer that technology to lower speed, inline applications for the Craft Brewers and the integrated CB50F filler and seamer shown features a compact footprint, mechanical design and speeds up to 50 cans per minute.

The Verus Bagger is a robust and sanitary designed system suitable for a wide range of challenging industries, high speed intermittent motion with precise film control.

This flexible bagger has a large range of bag styles Quad, BB, Gusseted, Pillow and resealable Zipper.

It includes: sealing systems for polyethylene and/or heat seal materials; AB control system with colour HMI; stainless steel and aluminium construction with IP65 electrical cabinet and enclosure; acrylic or laser-cut stainless steel front guards; stepper motor-driven pull belts; and servo driven jaw actuation for high speed and high sealing integrity.
