Australian-owned global original equipment manufacturer tna will be celebrating its 35-year anniversary at AUSPACK in Sydney.

With its headquarters at Sydney’s Olympic Park (the venue for Auspack), it’ll be a real home show for the Australian manufacturer, which started operations back in 1982 and rapidly ascended from packaging pioneer to a global supplier of complete food processing and packaging lines.

Commenting on the company’s milestone, Alf Taylor, CEO and founder of tna says: “It’s been exactly 35 years since we started developing that very first prototype. Back then, nobody in the industry could imagine that it would be possible to achieve speeds over 60 bags a minute on a VFFS system.

“We proved them wrong and delivered a system that not only took packaging speeds to the next level, but completely revolutionised the market.

“Today, the third generation of our tna robag packaging system is still the fastest bagger on the market and we’re certainly planning to keep it that way.

“We’re so glad that we never gave up on our dream and were able to turn a revolutionary idea for packaging food products faster and much more efficiently into a reality and successful business.

“35 years is a major milestone for us and it’s great that we’ll get to celebrate this in Australia, the country where it all started and that has contributed so much to the growth and progression of tna over the years.”

Equipment at booth 85 will include the third generation of the ground-breaking tna robag high-speed VFFS packaging system, the hygienically designed tna roflo horizontal motion conveyer and the flexible tna intelli-flav OMS 5 seasoning system for both liquid and dry flavour applications.

Magdy Eldessouky, general manager - Australia adds: “AUSPACK has always been an important show us. Some of our most long-standing customer relationships are based here, making it the ideal platform for us to showcase the benefits of our turnkey equipment to a home audience.

“Australia is a fantastic place to develop equipment solutions for modern day manufacturing operations.

“It’s a market that traditionally responds quickly to new trends, which is a real benefit for a company like tna who are known to keep pushing the boundaries. We’re very excited to display some of these cutting-edge solutions at the show this year.”

With 28 offices around the world and over 14,000 systems installed across more than 120 countries, tna now offers over 140 products, covering everything from fryers, freezers, conveyers, seasoning and coating systems to complete turnkey packaging systems with integrated metal detectors, scales, date coders, inserters, labellers and film splicing technology.

tna will be at stand #85, AUSPACK, Sydney, Australia, 7-10 March, 2017.
