Axelent Australia has introduced new X-Guard sliding doors that is designed for facilities with space constraints.

Axelent, which manufactures safety barriers and other factory safety equipment, has added new sliding doors to its X-Guard range.

Axelent sales director Drew Hoxey said, “The X-Guard sliding doors allow you easy and safe passage to and from enclosed areas, without the physical encroachment on limited facility space.

“Whether you need to shift machines or equipment in and out, or you need access to carry out maintenance and service the X-Guard sliding doors are ideal. X-Guard sliding doors are so versatile that you can swap out a fixed panel for a door easily without having to move any posts or worry about the doors being left or right-hinged,” Hoxey said.

The new Axelent X-Guard sliding doors come with a centre lock and the door blades are pushed in opposite directions to create a maximum opening of 5.9 metres. Axelent said the door was suited to handling large volumes carried by overhead cranes or forklifts, as the design does not have any overhead rails.

The X-Guard swing-slide door has an opening of 4 metres, and it is ideally suited for cramped areas. The doors can fold back onto the fence line in tight and restricted areas. This swing-slide door has no fixed panels, making for easy cleaning and maintenance.
