As a sponsor of the event, which will run till Sunday, Cobs has been giving away sample packs of the popcorn in two flavours: Sea Salt and Aged White Cheddar.

Watts Design came up with the concept of featuring famous movie sayings with the flavour name incorporated into the quote on the matt BOPP flexo packs.

"It was great to get into the theme of the event," said designer Peter Watts.

"We cross-referenced classic movie quotes to create a bit of mystique, and differentiate the packaging.

"It made people look twice, and they could choose their favourites."

Watts has been working with Cobs since founder John Walys turned up at the studio door 13 years ago with "a bag of popcorn in cellophane packaging with a plain sticker," according to Peter Watts.
