A reusable dispensing system designed to eliminate direct handling of garden chemicals has taken out gold in the 2026 Domestic & Household Packaging Design category, with Yates Group recognised for its Click & Grow Garden Care System.
The system addresses long-standing challenges associated with DIY garden sprayers by combining refill pouches with a reusable hose-mounted handset. At its core is a specially engineered venturi system that draws liquid from pre-mixed pouches into the water stream, while an intuitive dial allows users to control dilution rates for different applications.
Safety was a key focus of the design. A patented Pick Up Assembly closure mechanism ensures refill pouches remain sealed until connected to the handset, helping prevent spills and reducing user exposure to garden chemicals. The handset also incorporates a thumb-operated shut-off valve and multiple spray settings, while UV-stabilised materials provide durability for outdoor use. Once purchased, the reusable handset can be paired with a range of eight refill pouches.
Rebel Sports Australia received silver for its Tahwalhi Towable Bodyboard.
The Domestic & Household Packaging Design category recognises innovation across household products, garden care, gifts, stationery and consumer goods. All winners are eligible for entry into the 2027 WorldStar Packaging Awards.
