The new design features abstract botanical brushstrokes created by local artist Jordan Lee, drawing on the region’s flora, open skies and agricultural landscapes where the fresh milk is sourced.

The new packaging began appearing in stores from the end of July, with 2L and 3L bottles transitioning first, followed by the rest of the carton range.

Brownes Dairy said the phased introduction is intended to avoid redundant packaging being written off.

The bottles and cartons also feature nutritional labelling highlighting natural protein and fat content, which the company said is designed to support consumer loyalty and attract new shoppers to the dairy category.

“Every day, our dedicated South West dairy farmers work tirelessly to provide the highest-quality product to WA families, and this landmark redesign is a deliberate business commitment to drive premium value back into our local agricultural sector,” said Nicole Ohm, head of marketing at Brownes Dairy.

“We wanted to create the most beautiful, premium design in the market to show that 100% fresh, fundamentally nutritious WA dairy is always worth paying for, especially when it supports our local farming communities,” Ohm said.

Brownes Dairy said its market share has risen to its highest level in three years and that it is currently Western Australia’s number one branded white milk.

“Brownes Dairy has held pride of place on WA breakfast tables for 140 years, and as the state's leading milk brand, this vibrant redesign is our gift back to the community to signal a better, more delicious value proposition for everyday dairy,” Ohm said.

Brownes Dairy was established 140 years ago and sources its fresh white milk from the South West region of Western Australia.

Food and beverage manufacturers are facing a warehouse space crisis, and most of them did not see it coming. Production expanded, storage followed and over time, an organised operation became a fragmented footprint of disconnected warehouses, rising third-party costs, and a site nobody would have designed on purpose. Swisslog ANZ director of sales, Steve Dimitrovski, examines why the space problem is structural and how automation is helping manufacturers solve it without building a new site.

NSW Food and Beverage manufacturers are invited to join an upcoming information session at the Advanced Manufacturing Readiness Facility (AMRF) to learn about funding and support available to help businesses innovate, grow and improve competitiveness.
