The 1st Diamond award was presented in Barcelona on 29 October for Carman’s Toasted Muesli Original Fruit Free. The pack had previously won Gold in the Flexo Wide Web category at Australia’s 2026 Flexible Packaging and Label Manufacturers Association (FPLMA) Print Awards.

According to RollsPack, the Australian win qualified the entry for the international competition. Held every two years, the FTA Europe Diamond Awards recognise excellence in flexographic printing, bringing together Gold-winning work from national competitions for further judging. Entries are assessed for print quality and technical performance.

Announcing the result on LinkedIn, Phillip Rolls credited printing manager Thanh Huynh, who attended the ceremony with him.

“Special mention for our Printing Manager Thanh Huynh, who was with me and deserves this honour and accolade for his workmanship and skill in producing this world class submission,” Rolls wrote.

The Carman’s entry is a reverse-printed film application combining line and process work at 150 lines per inch or higher. Its Australian Gold was one of five awards RollsPack collected at this year’s FPLMA competition, comprising three Golds and two Silvers across flexographic and gravure flexible packaging categories.

The other Gold-winning packs were Blue Lake Milling Organic Steel Cut Oats and Kettle Sweet Chilli & Sour Cream. Silver awards went to CC’s Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Special Edition and Kettle Ridge Cut Himalayan Pink Salt.

The Barcelona result adds to international recognition already received this year. RollsPack also earned Bronze in the US-based Flexographic Technical Association’s 2026 Excellence in Flexography Awards for The Muesli Company Instant Oats packaging.
