Australia’s largest distributor of printable materials and consumables, Ball & Doggett, has appointed Zaidee Jackson as national business development manager, Sustainable Packaging, effective 1 January 2022.

The new role is in line with the company's commitment to the Labels & Packaging market, and further, to develop sustainable packaging alternatives for industry.

Victoria-based Jackson, who was recently awarded Exceptional Woman in Print 2021 at the 38th National Print Awards, is well suited to the functionality of her new role. She has over twenty-five years experience working within paper distributors and print service providers, and as Ball & Doggett's BDM manager in Victoria for the past seven years, has successfully navigated profitable outcomes with her team within the creative and brand owner sectors.

In this key role, Jackson will work closely with Leigh Hooper, newly-appointed GM, Labels & Packaging, and support the navigation and dialogue between brand owners and converters, supporting the transition pathways in a consultancy experience offered by Ball & Doggett.

"I am thoroughly looking forward to working closely with Leigh and our experienced specialists within the business. We are at an extraordinary juncture of our times in the quest to elevate through action and no longer words. Our commitment to sustainable alternatives being delivered into the market supports this journey – products that transparently reduce the impact on the environment and create authentic experiences for brands not just to share a story but to deliver on the promise creating a trust within the new profile of ‘smart consumers," said Jackson.
