Label print businesses will receive an ‘HP Indigo First and Flexo-second’ mantra, at Labelexpo Americas next month, as the digital press manufacturer gives the message that its customers can bring on-demand “high-quality digital print to any job, with broad print versatility” regardless of its length.

At the show, HP will exhibit the HP Indigo 200K Digital Press with an add-on slitter, and the HP Indigo 6K Digital Press. It says this comprehensive portfolio, along with the HP Indigo V12 Digital Press, offers customers a wide range of options, “leading to above market growth” of HP Indigo users.

The HP Indigo digital press fleet is part of an end-to-end approach, including the Digital Pouch Factory, and ABG non-stop winding and converting. It says the cloud-based HP PrintOS software suite helps converters “automate the entire production line and produce higher volumes” thanks to its complete ecosystem.

Around 15 per cent of HP Indigo’s label converters are using the HP Indigo 200K and its predecessor the 25K, to diversify their business and tap into digitally printed flexible packaging, the fastest-growing segment in print.  HP says that with the add-on slitter solution, converters can use the HP Indigo 200K for high productivity Pressure Sensitive label printing.

The booth will also present other solutions such as XR Services, Security and Brand Protection, Sustainability with the CO2 calculator, and an extensive customer application showcase.
