Epson says PacPrint in Sydney next week could the most vibrant ever, as it demonstrates its theme of “Come Alive with Epson”, with new products producing what it says will be “the brightest of colours”.

Epson will have a wide range of solutions in displays spanning labels, photo, signage, and merchandise on its stand, C48.

The company will show its ColorWorks label printing series, which includes the ColorWorks C8010, a colour inkjet label printer for high-volume enterprises with the business need for in-house, on-demand label production on an industrial scale.

According to Epson, the ColorWorks C8010 has high volume, high-quality label delivery speed and customisation capabilities. It says the printer is “easy” to use and maintain, with all paper loading, ink replacement and printing operations performed from one side. It prints at 300mm per second.

Epson says printing labels on-demand helps eliminate costs associated with pre-printing, such as label waste and large label inventory. It also says its high-capacity ink pouches offer low cost per print.

For businesses looking to upgrade their thermal transfer printers to colour inkjet labels, Epson will have its ColorWorks C6510. It features similar media handling capabilities, speed, features and connectivity options as the ColorWorks C8010, that Epson says deliver seamless integration with existing workflow.

Rounding out the label printing area with more label printing options is the ColorWorks C4010A, designed for on-demand colour label printing for a variety of applications and environments. Specifically designed as a colour upgrade to black-and-white thermal transfer printers, the ColorWorks C4010A delivers on-demand, colour labels.

Epson will also have a range of sign, display and merchandise printing solutions on its stand.

PacPrint runs from Tuesday 20 May to Friday 23 May at the Sydney Showgrounds in Olympic Park.
