Result Group will demonstrate coding, labelling and traceability technologies at foodpro 2026, including laser coding, linerless labelling, QR-enabled product information and its Plug-and-Play Traceability Platform.
The company will exhibit at the event, held from 26–29 July 2026 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), at Stand AH50.
Result Group CEO Michael Dossor said, “Packaging is becoming one of the most important sources of product information.”
“A label, a code or a laser mark can connect a product to production data, traceability information and consumer engagement. At foodpro, we want to show how simple and practical that can be,” he said.
The company will showcase laser coding technology, which applies information such as best before dates, batch numbers, production codes, QR codes and DataMatrix codes directly onto suitable packaging materials without the use of inks, solvents or additional labels in suitable applications.
Result Group will also display linerless labelling technology, which removes the backing liner used with traditional pressure-sensitive labels. The company said this can help reduce waste, storage requirements and roll changes on production lines.
“Linerless labelling is a simple idea with a strong impact,” Dossor said. “It helps reduce unnecessary waste while giving manufacturers a smarter way to label products. Combined with laser, coding and traceability, it becomes part of a much more intelligent packaging approach.”
The company will demonstrate a C-wrap labeller designed for applying labels to the top of packs, with applications including tray labelling for meat, poultry, fish and prepared meals.
Traceability will also be a focus at the event, with Result Group showcasing its Plug-and-Play Traceability Platform, which has been implemented in the Australian table grape industry across growers, packers, exporters and supply chain partners.
The platform connects product, packhouse and supply chain information, helping businesses improve visibility, support compliance and reduce manual data handling, particularly for export markets.
“Traceability does not need to be complicated,” Dossor said. “The Plug-and-Play Traceability Platform has already shown what is possible in the grape industry. Now we can take that proven model and help other industries connect their products, data and supply chains in a practical way.”
Result Group will also present solutions across coding and marking, print and apply, 2D barcoding, packaging automation and digital traceability at foodpro 2026.
