Innocent Bystander winery, based in Yarra Valley's Healesville, has released Who of Us, a “wicked new social game to explore with friends”, enabled via a QR code on the neck of the wine bottle.

With Who of Us, Innocent Bystander invites wine lovers to determine who should be crowned the most innocent, and who is the most wicked by anonymously nominating friends in a wild set of quick-fire questions and scenarios.

Five varietals of Innocent Bystander wine – Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Prosecco, Rose and Moscato – feature the QR code, which when scanned, links customers to the Who of Us game on their phone via the browser.

The “cheeky and mischievous ice-breaker” Q&A game can be played with friends over a glass of wine, either in real life or virtually.

Who of Us selects 12 questions to induce a variety of reactions from around the room, which the company said could range from “shock and embarrassment, to pride and innocent laughter”.

Questions include:

  •       Which friend would make the best cult leader?
  •       Which friend can’t keep a secret?
  •       Who among your friends gives the worst advice?
  •       Who lies the most on their tax return?
  •       Who probably preferred it in lockdown?
  •       Who is usually the first to spill their wine?

Innocent Bystander wines are available nationwide at major wine retailers, independent wine shops, the Innocent Bystander HQ in Healesville, and on the company website.
