Boring Oat Milk has made its Australian debut, with its Barista and Original varieties now available in Woolworths stores nationwide, packaged in a clear PET bottle designed for recycling, wrapped in a printed shrinksleeve.
Founder Morgan Maw said the choice of material came after careful consideration. “Because it’s the best of a bad bunch sort of situation, we chose clear PET (plastic grade 1) as it is the most recyclable option for longlife milk containers.”
The bottle preform is supplied by Visy PET, ensuring compatibility with established recycling streams in Australia and New Zealand.
Made with 100 per cent New Zealand-grown oats, Boring Oat Milk also includes hi-oleic cold-pressed sunflower oil for creaminess and froth, while maintaining a neutral flavour and lower saturated fat content. Both the Barista and Original variants are fortified with calcium and vitamins.
“Boring Oat Milk is about keeping things consistently good and boringly simple,” Maw added. “No added sugars, thickeners or gums – just a delicious oat milk that baristas love to work with, and everyone else loves for the taste. We’ve fussed over the Boring stuff, so you don’t have to.”
Boring sources all its key ingredients locally: oats from the South Island, sunflower oil from Canterbury, and salt from Marlborough. Founded in 2021, the brand has grown a loyal following for its honest approach to plant-based milk.
Boring Oat Milk is now available nationwide at Woolworths.
