The call for speakers for the upcoming APPMA Business & Industry Conference is closing soon, and APPMA is inviting all interested individuals to send their submissions via this link by 26 March 2021.

To be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney on 16 September, the theme for this year’s conference is Investing in Resilience and will explore the multiple challenges and opportunities the Australian manufacturing faces in the new economy.

The program will provide the industry with the practical tools required to help navigate these uncertain times due to the global pandemic, all with an eye to securing a sustainable and resilient future.

APPMA will bring together a mix of high-profile industry experts and international thought leaders to its 2021 event, along with industry associations and government agencies representing several industries.

Interested in speaking?

For those wanting to share the stage with these high profile industry thought leaders, interested individuals will need to submit a 300-word overview of a case study relating to one of the following areas: innovation in processing, sustainability, technology, Covid-19 pivot, cybersecurity, health and safety, diversity and inclusion, or risk management.

If accepted, the individual will then be given 20 minutes, with two presenters maximum, during the conference for their presentation in a dedicated case study breakout stream. These sessions will take place in the streams immediately following the plenary sessions and prior to the technical demonstrations.

The case study should demonstrate solid outcomes, describe how the project, solution or innovation came about, the challenges faced and the journey taken.

Early bird registrations will be opening in mid-April. For more information, head to the conference page on the APPMA website.
