This year’s ProPak Asia conference will see its largest ever Australian contingent, with 17 Aussie companies set to exhibit, along with the Australian Packaging & Processing Machinery Association.

Most will set up 'shop' in the Australian Pavilion, including first-time exhibitors Australis Engineering, Lifecycles and Lantech Australasia and returning companies such as Rhima Australia, Profile Solutions, INOX Australia, Lifecycles, HMPS, Fibre King. Industry associations APPMA and the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) will also have a strong presence in the pavilion.

Among the Australian exhibiting contingent are companies who have their own stands in the main exhibition halls, including Gold Peg, Heat and Control, Metz Australia, Moisttech/Maselli Asia Pacific, and tna will have their own stands.

According to Michael Moran, general manager APPMA, the association’s presence at ProPak Asia is one of its ongoing initiatives to deliver enhanced member services, events, and benefits.

“We will again be joining the Australian Pavilion to engage and support exhibiting APPMA members, explore how the APPMA can best support and benefit members who may wish to exhibit at future shows, and promote the APPMA and our members to overseas audiences.

“We will also be identifying possible distribution/agency opportunities for members, capturing feedback regarding AUSPACK, and promoting AUSPACK 2021, while engaging with other associations in exploring information sharing opportunities,” he said.

ProPak Asia 2019 will be held at BITEC in Bangkok, Thailand, from 12 to 15 June, and will feature 1900 exhibitors from 50 countries.

Organisers describe it as Asia’s best platform to connect to the region’s rapidly-expanding packaging and processing industries.

“Going from strength to strength every year, ProPak Asia has a proven track record over 26 years of delivering the greatest number and selection of international suppliers, and the best showcase of latest technology and innovations,” they said.
