The packaging machinery company behind Australia's first Bag in Box machine held an Open Day for its South Australian customers late last year.
HMPS has grown to offer case packers, RSC, palletisers, carton erectors and sealers, pick and place applications and specialised robotic solutions, and has offices in NSW, Queensland, and Victoria.
The Open Day was supported by over 90 customers and suppliers from the region, and local produce and wine was enjoyed by guests.
HMPS MD Mark Emmett is a supporter of buying local and supporting the Australian economy, and believes many Australian companies still shop in Europe for machinery.
Shane Arthur and Julia Atterton at the event.
"World-class development and innovation is taking place right on their doorstep, and the Open Day was our way of showing local customers what's possible," he said.
"HMPS has over 300 machines in the field, and these are placed all over the world.
"Australian OEMs have to be able to offer real flexibility for the future, and machinery has to offer customers options.
"Today you might be packing six cans of a certain size in a small carton, but tomorrow you may need to pack 12 larger cans.
"We build machines which are adaptable and easy to operate.”
